I would like some input here. We have some great posters with obvious experience in mining stocks.

What are the normal timelines between where a company finds a large deposit and when it has its find reflected in its stock price. I know what I think, but I'd love to hear other poster opinions on this.

I used to own Augusta Resources. It hit copper big bak around 2003. It ran up to 3.50 after the hit and dropped back to 1.30 about 6 months later. Now its running back up to 7.00. The present market situation has pushed it back down a bit but they are counting on having a mine there. Its very similar to Noront's story and that is the only reason I'm bringing it up. Check out Augusta Resources and you'll see what I mean.

My personal guess is we'll be seeing some "major" action before Augusta does but it may be the same way Augusta got it, through partial buyins in return for large scale financing. Their doing it right over there and I'm sure we'll be doing it right over here.

My only difference of opinon is that Augusta is a 30.00 stock and Noront could be 100.00, 150.00 or even 200.00 when everything gets pulled up out of the ground. That my friends is a very major difference and that..is why I'm fully loaded with Noront and have watched my profits in Augusta dissipate. Its a matter of making a decision now...and keeping to it. Don't lose hope...ever. We'll do fine..maybe not just in the next few months, but definately in the next few years. Thing long and enjoy the ride, rollercoasterish as it is.
