I watch from the sidelines for the most part but today I was prompted to comment on the goings on of the board.

Disclosure: I am a NOT investor for approximately 6 months, I have between 50-75K of my HARD EARNED money in ROF stocks with NOT holding a very large portion. I exist as can be testified to by the other 14 NOT investors at the NOT Golf tournament

First off I read every single post here every day since I joined in March. I have watched all these stocks do a slow burn over that time, occasionally we see an uptick but that gets followed by another downward trend and that applies to all the stocks, no one has had any legs these past 6 months.

I read EVERY post, and I agree there are some that just don`t belong, those posts that say 1.58 RTQ and nothing else are a waste of space. Most of us watch real time, if you do, you know what the price is, if you don't, it doesn't mean enough to you to know what the RTQ is.

This board goes in cycles, from sheer joy over good news, to bickering when the price goes down, I think this is the 4th bad round we have had and may have been the worst for people bickering. Yes the price prompts this behaviour. NO one likes to see their investment deteriorate. All of us said we are here for the long run, so go take a walk and ignore the computor for a few days. You will feel much better. I bet there is not one person on here that could care less if the stock tanks, of course we all care, if we wanted to throw our money away we could find many ways to do so and some of those ways might help some people that really could use some help. NO, we are here because we are all here to make money, its just a matter of what your individual time line is as to how anxious you are about the share price.

The share price is not moving like we think it should. There is a general lack of interest in our stock and several others in the ROF because quite simply the companies are not doing a good enough job getting the information out. For the life of me I don't know why NOT and SPQ and others are not joining FWR at the Cambridge mining show this weekend in Toronto to talk up the McFaulds area. They are missing the boat here, I will attend and speak to Mac Watson and see what his plans are and report here sunday night.

We absolutely have to do something to generate some interst, unless of course there is a plan by the companies involved to keep this low key for a bit longer to get all our ducks in order to create such a commotion that we will see the share price skyrocket.

As for on topic off topic, as I said I read them all, I think on the whole we regulate each other pretty well, the stock market is relavent as to what happens to our stock and its referenced many times during the course of the year, This week we probably went a bit overboard but it was relevant, the market was in a shambles and what the US does will effect everyone. So for me it was relevant and on topic.

We have a very very good board here with many intelligent posters, tempers get heated, we take things a bit too personal and we get in a huff, best thing to do is turn off the computor, grab a drink and watch a comedy show and laugh a little, sometimes we take life and ourselves a bit too seriously. As I have said to some other posters who have left temporarily, "take a deep breath" and come back, we need your useful inforamation and if you don't like someone elses opinion ignore it. Just leave the personal attacks off the board. I matched the MEO board deteriorateover the summer and I can tell you it was wicked awful over there. This board is active and as such we have many personalities here, use them to your advantage. Be smart about how you learn and think twice about how you respond to anothers post.

Personally I think we have a winner here, I hate to see the price go down but I have the ability to be somewhat patient. In a few weeks I have some money coming free and will continue to invest in what I think is a good investment. Time will tell if I'm right or not, for now I am willing to take the risk and watch this play out.
