I went there around 1:00pm, not many attendee there, went to NRN... FWR booth..

this year many booth did not hand out freebies like last year..may be the macro economics or share price shed a lot..

FWR: intersting to know that they have an initial result of the first CR hole..they told me that there is a handheld equipment that can use to check when they encounter the CR samples.

From previous or Noront's experience, its result was not far out ,may be a small % difference from assays actual result ..FWR initial reading for one sample is 49% Cr2o3 with CR: FE ratio 2.60 ( quite amazing )

FWR will finish the 5th drilled hole in order to look for CR depth and will move the drill to NW side to look for NI anamolies..

They are hoping that the CR motherlode is in their area as their Cr findings are the deepest so far..( as a rough estimation between the hole 1 and hole 3 ...1.6 Km x 30-40 meter width x 100-200 meter depth ...> 40 Million Ton ; all are guesstimate)

The JV with Noront in DE still in geophysic stage ,hopefully commence to drill around Jan or Feb 09 ..

Forget to ask Hoy on the Windfall gold JV project,hope someone can remember if they visit the conference tomorrow..

NRN booth's visit is quite interesting, they believe that during the ICE Age , the Ice movement is from East to west , there is a bigger fault run from North to south, the outcrop of CR or Platinum is towards the south west.. the main mine of platinum/Ni /CR ( Motherlode) should be around the area they had staked , ..they were in Mcfauld Lake many years .

Right now , they have one drill working ..their focus is in the south side of Noront and had not staked any area around Eagles when Noront hit the Eagle 1.

They are confident that they might have the richest area of mines instead..

Bold and East West resources have booths there , they are active in Mcfauld lake,but since I had not invested in them , I did not go there.

Again, that hand help equipment is important ,a good indicator to know the result immediately ..

as I before thought that the delay of assays result may hinder geologists decision to locate area to drill. Today I found out that was not the case.
