Thanks for that in-depth response.

A couple of follow up questions.

You refer to the chrome mineralization as being less heavy than the ni, cu, pgms. I understood that the chromium was very heavy. Specific gravity of 6.8. Is it then because the other metals are found in the Massive Sulphides ie. high concentrations that they settle out? Wouldn't the chrome tend to settle in clumps too though rather than flow through the conduit?

Also you start by describing one long conduit, and conclude by refering to conduits (plural). Are they still operating on Mungall's assumption of a several kms long conduit or that of several conduits? And would they all flow in the same direction if indeed there is more than one?
