I have been out of the country for the past ten days and missed all the action. I have reviewed as many posts as I could to get a gist of how all you were feeling about the situation. Funny choice of words considering my investment in Noront is a fifth of what I originally put in. However, this board has a sense of community and it matters what the members of the community are saying. In fact, seeing the response from the retail investors on this board driven by some key members, it matters greatly and can influence direction. This is something I secretly and cynically doubted but was very pleasantly surprised.

So, what do we do now? As of today, Richard is no longer in charge. Much as we respect him, truth is noone in any organization is irreplaceable. The new board appears to be balanced, has very influential and respected members to counterbalance each others extreme intentions. We have a unique geology that has not changed and wont until we start removing it. This is what the company is all about, this is what gives it the market cap that drives share value. Any board of directors will recognize that and considering we still have the same staff, the nuts and bolts of the company is still the same. Any board of directors will play this geology to its max. even the ARU related guys. From what the media said about the selling of that company, ARU paniced due to political unrest and dumped the company which hurt a lot of shareholders who bought late. I bought NOT late, I am hurt. We do not have political unrest here, but we are enduring a market meltdown. I am looking forward to seeing a fifth become two fifths etc.

I plan on staying with this forum and continuing to enjoy the varied opinions of the NOT community. Here's to the future.

Mike
