Another way to do this is to click on the "Insert/Edit Image" icon that is the second last icon on the toolbar that appears when you create a message.

It is tiny and hard to see but it is a picture of a green tree with a blue shy beside the ABC checkmark.

From there you enter the URL of the picture you have and it will be imbedded in your email.
