Needless to say that the retail vote, the commentaries on the Agoracom site and the response from telephone surveys revealed to the heavy's that there were a surprising number of very disgruntled individuals. Within that group of people there very likely is a small percentage that could become surprisingly aggressive at an AGM hence the police, limited room size and the ejecting of certain individuals at the door who could represent a focal point around which to rally. The emphasis was on getting the meeting through with some semblance of graciousness extended to R.N. without any fuss from angry shareholders. An atmosphere of calm business dealings would certainly be desireable in the headlines as opposed to a riot. Certain individuals were not present likely to avoid any negative stimulus. In short they just wanted this thing over and to move on without any public negativity.... the new public image of NOT wants to start off without any hitches. Did they overreact?...... I've seen it before and if is laughable if not insulting.
