I think we'll be seeing a bit of slowdown in drilling for the winter season; unless they drill deeping in loactions they have already explored. This way they can:
- Sit out the market
- Burn our money slower
- Rest the equipment that has been working 24/7 for the last 8 to 9 months
- Prepare the game plan for 2009.
Anything that comes out now will be news that was already there to announce. If the frost is still not in the ground that deeply then they may drill into December, but I have to think its smarter to minimize the costs for a few months and work on what they've found already.
This of course is all IMHO and isn't necessarily what I want. We all, I'm sure, want the drilling to go 24/7 12 months of the year, but that may be a bit unreasonable to assume with cash flow harder to find in the short term. We don't want to give away the shop just to keep looking for the "golder nugget".
