Value Investment

I have been away for awhile and have not posted. One of my stops was Toronto which on the surface seems to be booming still. At least a dozen tower cranes visible from my hotel downtown. Not bad for a major city in a "have not " province. Just a little Newfoundland dig for any Globe and Mail reporters out there.LOL. On reviewing the posts over the last few days, the mistrust of this new BOD is prevalent. In thinking about that, I have to say that the only thing that caught my attention in this company over a year ago was the ore. I got in a little late, but I wasn't attracted to the company because of head office staff. I found this site and found it a great place to obtain and share information. Analysis of PR's and technical information was done immediately by professionals and laypeople alike and posted here in ordinary language. Often it was argued about but it was centered on the orebody and the opportunities in the global markets. This is what this company is about, existing orebodies, potential for new orebodies and future demand for the metals derived from that ore. The previous BOD was focused on that. Major shareholders disagreed with the methodology and exerted influence to manage their investment in a direct hands on approach. Sitting here with my tiny share of the company, I don't trust anyone to look after my personal best interests. However, I believe in the will of the BOD, whoever thay are to want to make this company worth more and to see it make the board very wealthy.

If we hit another hole with significant ni/cu/pgms, I think you will see a renewed acceptance of the BOD whoever they may be, and life here will return to normal. We are starved for information.
