Message: Re: Nickel price decline has outstripped demand decline.

Well to look on the bright side, Majors looking to buy up juniors on the cheap will be looking at the juniors that have high grade deposits like NOT. With demand set to rebound they need to buy high grade ore discoveries to cut down on the mining expenses associated with low grade ore mines. Especially with the prices of Nickel down as low as it is. This will make them more able to continue to operate over the short and longer term, especially if commodity prices continue to be volatile. They need to hang onto their share of the market and if possible are always looking at ways to increase their market share. What better then to get hold of high grade ore deposits. I would bet that the Mines closed by Xstrata have lower ore values.
