HI Manic; This post of yours makes a very important point. To elaborate on the subject just a bit more;

If you are an investor who, in a normal year would play the resource markets only part of the year ( invest in Dec, go away in May), there is another tremendous upside to this account.

If we use your suggestion that one transfers $5000. worth of NORONT shares in @ .50, and the Sp rises to $5.00. You could reap a profit of $45k. However, the way I read the rules is that you could take the $50k out in May, Stay away all summer, and have the ability to reinvest the $50k in the fall when the market starts to come back to life.

Properly handled, this new tool for investors could have huge consequences to the small investor.
