There was a segment on CBC News tonight with regard to Investment fraud and corporate fraud in Canada. It question the OSC about the lack of effort in pursueing cases that had been presented to them. The head of the OSC was questioned about many things...what an evasive attitude he took. It was disgracefull and this person received $700.000 plus salary a year almost 4 times what a US counterpart gets. The US took over 2,000 cases to court from 2002 to the present. The OSC took 2.This whole regulatory system and the people that run them needs top level government investigation to protect the Investors of Canada who have always got a pretty rotten deal.
