I hope we or they or whoever can and will learn from this and not make loans to people who cannot pay them back. I know there are alot of people who are honest and are still paying their mortgage even though the house is now worth less than they paid for it but to require a financial institution to make a bad loan makes no sense. IE see Fannie and Freddie - those are the guys that should be the first ones on trial
