Ontario politicians grill OSC / December 2/08

According to the Ontario government's Web site, the standing committee on government agencies is "empowered" to review and report its observations, opinions and recommendations on the operations of provincial Crown corporations, agencies, boards and commissions to which the lieutenant-governor in council makes appointments. The reviews can lead to improving the accountability of agencies, like the OSC, or revising their mandates and roles. The official transcript of the OSC Agency review is available at:

David Wilson is asked some tough questions relating to the CBC broadcast and attempts to dodge questions as he did on the CBC segment. Interesting read. Politicians make it clear that the public has bombarded them with letters demanding action.
