Thanks Hoov. I've reviewed the information in your link. As you point out it does say the opportunity to claim a capital loss is lost "forever". It doesn't look to me as if there are any ifs, ands or buts about it. Forever means forever. As you point out this rule for RRSP's likely applies to TFSA's as well. Thanks again.
