I know you can contribute up to $5000/yr. But can you buy and sell within the account? For example, you transfer $5000 of NOT shares to the TFSA on Jan 2nd sell NOT at a profit down the road......lets say $10000 and buy another stock and sell it at a profit......(if you are lucky) as long as you use the funds within the TFSA account and don't transfer new funds in the account from another source?

PS: Just want to make sure I cover all the bases before I take that dive on Monday. Just seems to good to be true, even though what I read so far on TFSA's seems true.
