Hi Storm; If you have room to use all 25k in your RRSP, then you are probably in at least the 40% range for taxes, so you have to use all you can for the RRSP. However a simple solution, if you expect a rise in SP over next two months is to put the 10k into the TFSA. You can quite simply get a short term loan from any institution to top up any room in the RRSP. Then when the rebate arrives use it to pay off loan, and put the remainder into RRSP for next year.
