Good post Irish,

I receive the Globe and Mail and the lead story (in Report on Business) was Commoditiy slump bruises trade. Mostly dealing with oil but the article also mentions metals.

I think we should be encouraged on a couple of fronts. 1. the ROF companies have been able to raise cash, I refer primarily to NOT and FWR, during these difficult times. 2. Both NOT and FWR are not being conservative about drilling. NOT (3 drills) and FWR (2 drills).

IMO this should give shareholders some confidence that despite these very tough fiscal times both these companies are confident going forward. Without being too optimistic, it almost gives you the impression that something is going on behind closed doors.
