Making sense of it

I am still questioning my intelligence when it comes to this investment racket. There are so many things that just don't make sense. SPQ just announced two humungus holes yesterday. To this point in time a grand total of $100,000 worth of Spider shares changed hands. Between the Blackbirds and the Big Daddy and Black Thor and the 14 kilometers surrounding, we probably have the largest richest most economical chromite deposit on the planet. Why didn't the three companies with proven significant chromite tonnages go up? ( I know, SPQ went up a cent which is 25%) In my opinion, if this is possible to mine by open pit, which Noront says is likely, than we should be able to blow the competition out of the water on cost per tonne. As John D said earlier, South Africa is becoming even more militant and unstable, power is a real problem in terms of supply and consumption and the mines are far underground. Is it because this is a niche market and there are so few ferrochrome producers in the world that it will take some time to get their heads around the possibilities here? Maybe so. Maybe a producer is quietly accumulating their 10% while the going is cheap. Either way you look at it, it is a real mystery why this is not headline news. Khareema reminded me that our grades of chrome were equivalent to 3.5% nickel. That is spectacular. Remember the talk six months ago about the "black swan" effect? I think we have a classic case here. For those who don't remember, very simply it means something extreme is reported and it defies belief so people discount it or don't know what to do about it.
