Thanks for that info. Any is much appreciated. I know you have a good relationship with Palmer.
This is the Problem with Palmer. Its minor but measurable by some. He is called a paper Geo by other geos. He has his doctorate.
What's wrong with a doctorate? Well not much unless you put it up against field experience.
Instead of me knocking Palmer. I surely do NOT want to do that especially at this time in our history so I will use Nursing as an analogy to explain one little complaint.
A few years ago if one wanted to become a Nurse one had 2 choices. One could go to College for 3 years with lots of time spent in the various health care facilities performing and learning from hands-on work. These 3 year nurses were able to think on their feet very quickly in order to resolve various crisis'.
One could also choose to go to University with a 4 year course and receive your degree. These university Nurses studied more of the business aspect of Nursing. For example, running a unit, or being in charge. their bedside manner is lacking and their reaction to crisis' was slow. But, they had a head full of information which was usefull to all.
My point is that Palmer, though extremely knowledgeable, was lacking in field experience it was assumed.
Now if you look at his history there is more to consider, he had the whole ROF to himself at one time. He missed. Several times. A while back I held this against him but after ruminating over this situation I found out that he did NOT have the tools they have today. Eg. the V'tem and the rest of the tems were not like they are now. This put him at a great dis advantage.
On the other hand, He did make a nice move with the jv and a nice Royalty for Probe. He also has another hit he did not follow up on. Now I undersand his pulling back tosave money.
NOT needs those to claim blocks butting up to E1. They will make a del there is little doubt in my mind.
I doubt that Probe need spend any money. They are already in the money.
Thanks for that though Rosehill
