I have really enjoyed the last 24 hours of posts here on the NOT forum, lots of theories, lots of what ifs, emotions clearly evident but thats a good thing as it asures us of an open perspective and clearly illustrates both sides of the coin.
So then, it begins, first out of the gate is Cliff and KWG for 4 claims of chromite. Well now what a revelation, took me by surprise as i'am sure everyone else also. I can't recall hearing the name ever mentioned here as they're being a potential interested party in our dear ROF. That sure widens the playing field as far as increasing the amount potential suitors for the minerals in the ROF. Seems to be a real departure from Cliffs normal MO and certainly demonstrates that all bets are now off as far as conjecture of Major acquisitions goes. Wow. is this the first Stainless steel wedge in the armor of Richard's Ring of Fire?? The crack heard round wall street?? Typically when you crack a whip there's a sonic boom to be heard... a very loud pop! I am waiting eagerly for the pop.
Ok, so your're a new Director on the Board of Noront Resources Ltd., the TSX's top company for 2008, you've got power, you've got metal (that now we know people do want)in the ROF, very valuable metal and you've granted yourself a ton of options which you know will make you a ton of money under the right circumstances if you play your cards right. Do you skillfully manipulate the share price for a quick and easy double and bail on what you know is a slam dunk money make mineral laden machine or do you continue pounding holes in the ring and while doing so create the perfect storm with assay releases and sit back and let the bidding war begin while fending of the offers and send the sp through the roof and collect accordingly, my guess is the latter as i bet they know they can make literally make many millions instead of a few. After all 600,000 shares at crazydiks # is $20 million! If they chose the latter of the two we just may find ourselves waking that boy up soon..
We may see more than just a few majors actively bidding for NOT....
