I discussed this back on Nov 15....the issue of control
For those who read "The Big Score", Friedland's big issue at first was to ensure he had 50% of the shares locked up. I believe the same holds true here. After the PP and the options granted to management, I believe they are close to that 50% mark...with the increased volume recently, they could easily pick up what few shares they need to reach that mark.
Once that is achieved, 50% + 1, then you could pretty much do as you wish...or so it seams...... You can exersice your power and ignore other shareholders......you can be arrogant and ignorant.....you can take out some revenge on those who tried to block your move.....you can withhold information as long as you wish and make lame excuses...you can hide the true value of shares and manipulate others.....you can play your games under the noses of the ineffective and meaningless watchdogs....they now have control
They will say and do what they want, when they want. They are here for the long haul. They will try to wear you down. The more they wear you down.....the more fed up you get....the more willing you are to sell your shares and move on....the more unlikely you are to accumulate more shares and move prices higher....the more likley they can accumulate more at a lower price until they are ready to make their move. That can be next week or next month....maybe that will be in six months or a year....maybe in two years or five years....after another two or three PP's and a couple more rounds of granting more options.
And what are we to do....we have lost all control
