MCFAULDS PROPERTY, ONTARIO

WHY CHROMITE?

•Chromite is a strategic mineral used mainly as an
alloy to produce stainless steel (>90% produced)

•There are no substitutes for chromite in the
production of stainless steel 6

•China is the leading consumer of chromite in the
world accounting for 70% of the world’s production

•The value of high-grade chromite (>40% CR2O3) is
US$400-$450 per tonne delivered to port (equivalent
to 3.5% Ni or 8.5% Cu)

MCFAULDS PROPERTY, ONTARIO

•Resources and production are mostly in the Eastern
Hemisphere

•Global outlook is for continued rising prices and
increasing demand

•The U.S. is import dependant for chromium imports 7
that travel over long supply routes

cheers ...danny
