Hey Don......our IR ladies at the convention were absolutely adamant that when NOT gets drill results, they release them in a timely manner...good or bad results. They have not and do not hold assays for batch release, or any other reason.
This wide disparity between the 'official position' and what we see(on more than the assay issue) is indicative of much of this play and the ROF in general. In short, there is (to us anyway) something else going on in the background that is being kept from retail. What could that be?
I hate to be obvious, but rarely are people kept in the dark, and not given the facts, and fed mis-information for their own good.
The corporate difference between FWR and NOT was apparent at the convention. FWR treat retail with respect and invite you in for the great search.....they share the excitement. I like that.
NOT has IR people that are very professional and in control of the information....and there-in lies the problem. They will give you what they want to give you as per their game plan. Don't get me wrong, I liked these IR people....they are doing their job as dictated by NOT and their experience in the business...which is substantial. And in the long run, NOT's game plan may be better for us. Remember that Robert Friedland played hardball ala Machievelli.
So I guess I'm taking a long route, to say, simply, we need to keep our eyes open and noses to the ground for this whole journey. As much as I liked talking to Joe Hamilton and found him forthright and engaging..........there is a much BIGGER game going on in the background.
.....cheers ......sambone
