I'm American, and just adore Canada and Canadians. Always have. Actually worked at Mt. Tremblant Ski Lodge many years ago. I was the only American they hired, supposedly because I knew NYC so well, and could enthusiastically advise Americans about the Canadian ski resort areas. What a winter and job of pure joy!

You have a magnificent country. It's regrettable that many Americans are so self aborbed that they know very little about Canada and you all know even our baseball stats!

However, your remarks are harsh and undignified. I'm sorry that you feel the way you do.

America is your supportive, admiring neighbor. Perhaps the new Obama spirit of engagement will make you feel better. We're always reinventing ourselves ,so don't be bitter...we'll just try harder! ;-)
