One last thought for today

Gotta make up for lost time here!

First off, thanks everyone for the warm welcome and the kind words. Thanks also to the regulars for sticking with the forum and keeping it a very real force to reckon with.

I would like to clarify something here, and although there are two different thoughts, they spring from the same idea.

When I said I haven't sold a share, that is true. Now, going forward, I think it's important to understand that if anyone sells, for whatever reason, it is NOT an act of treason. We're here to make money, and hopefully, we'll all be selling our shares to a major someday but in the meantime we all have to choose the best times to buy and sell based on our own personal needs.

That being said, I find it very very interesting that certain posters are reminding us that they were kind enough to tell us when to sell, and we ignored the advice, and then, in the very next breath, considering it an act of disloyalty when RN sold some shares. So....lemme get this straight, we were wrong NOT to sell our shares at the SAME time that RN sold some, which was also the wrong thing to do, morally? Huhhhh.....??? Explain that to me again???

And by not selling our shares, who did we hurt? The company? Surely not, it helped us fight the proxy battle. The only folks who got hurt were us, the shareholders who did not take profits, and so if we're not complaining about it, what's the big deal?

This leads me to the conclusion that they are still P.O'd at us for clinging so tightly to our shares which interfered with their plans for McFauld's domination.

And I don't think they realize that the more they drive the price down, we are all able to increase our holdings ( I managed to scrape up some cash, which previously I was unable to...thanks for the extra time, guys.)

So, you see, the stubborn longs are actually INCREASING their holdings the more the price stays down. Remember, these are the same folks who cling to their shares with the tenacity of a pitbull with a T-bone. Not the best plan for the "other guys" even though I know their holdings still outweigh retail now. Whatever shares are out there for sale, be it just enough sacrificed from the market maker to drive the price down, or from other retail holders, the shares are going from weak hands to stronger ones.

I'm just looking for the message behind the bashing, and I think I've put my finger on it. They still want us to feel stupid for believing in the RoF and the Blue Skies, and it isn't working. We know how bad they want it by the war they are willing to wage over it: they are fighting with everything they have: money, influence, proxy wars, psychology, silence, delays and on it goes. They still think they're going to get another chance to browbeat us and get us to dump our shares.

Just remember how bad we're annoying them by our sheer determination!

Have a great weekend all!
