The Road Issue..

I have just received a phone call form Bruce Hyer, M.P. for Thunder Bay/Superior North.

He is very interested in the road and expressed a strong desire to join us in our push for road and or rail.

Mr. Hyer owns some fishing lodges North of Armstrong, has his Pilot's Licence and knows the ROF area without compass or any new technology. He follows the waters and the portages right up to Webequie. So he knows the area, is very exited about making contact as he feels that mining is going to replace logging here in Northwestern Ontario.

It gets better. His wife whose name is Margaret Wanlin, phone number with his permission 807 577 8966, is some sort of mediator and was involved in the talks with Webequie. She is now in the WAWA area doing something for the Pic River Reserve and some exploration plays down that way.

He wants to keep in touch so I mentioned the Agoracom Forum and the PDAC. He said he can't make it to the PDAC but there is a convention of some kind in Thunder Bay in April. I did not know this.

So now I've got to find out about this convention or whatever it is, visit those who are hosting etc and see if I can't get Bruce Hyer to speak. That's right. About a road or rail line........:)

Bottom line is he is with us on the front lines of this push.
