Coswill - now you are clearly making the point that the BOD is colluding with Cliff, and any other potential institutional investors, to scare retail into selling their shares, and helping the institutional investors acquire those shares. You say they are doing this by "holding back information".
Since when has lack of news for a month or two been a motivation for retail shareholders to dump shares of what has been clearly shown to be a company whose incredible orebodies are worth more than the current price of the stock? In situations like that, under average market conditions (i.e., when there is not a recession going on, forcing investors to liquidate investments just to pay bills), shareholders cling doggedly to their shares, and new investors, as soon as they learn of the undervalued situation, jump at the chance to acquire shares in such a company.
As for the manipulation, you can't put that on the Board of Directors. The same kind of manipulation was going on when Richard Nemis was in charge. It is the large institutional investors that are manipulating the price of the stock, just as they have when RN was in charge - not the BOD!
But, the fact is that these same institutional investors eventually cannot manipulate the price forever. After our stock price ran up, after the great discovery at Windfall, the stock price was manipulated down. After the price jumped even higher, at the discovery of Eagle 1, the price was eventually manipulated down by these same guys - but not by Richard Nemis and his BOD.
Nevertheless, we had some other great drill results after that and the price went up to $7.40, despite the multiple times the price had previously been manipulated lower by the institutional investment funds.
You can read many of my previous posts and see that I believe and agree with many other experienced investors that manipulation was going on for the benefit of large institutional investors in the past. However, it was collusion between those institutional investors that was at work - and never participation by the BOD (who are legally required to work for the good of all investors).
Also, we have not had a lack of news by any means, when compared to other companies, current or historically, on the average. As I said before, the abundance of news we got from RN and his crew was abnormal and unprecedented compared to what most companies provide. So, I cannot see how you can make a serious case against our current BOD of colluding with institutional investors to "shake out" the retail investors.
And I am confident that we will see a resurgence of Noront's stock price, and the current BOD do not desire to sell off the company for pennies on the dollar. It is not in their interest, nor is it in the interest of any investor - be they retail or institutional.
