New Ring Of Fire Website Development. Please click the hand if in favour....!!

As noted previously there are possible reasons why the BOD would want this Agoracom forum ceased. On the other hand I'm sure we all know that there is a lot of information (mixed with rumour and extreme opinions) that comes to this board from respected, knowledgeable and forthright individuals. You must think that George is now going to let this forum drop off the map. He has already confirmed and re-iterated that confirmation at different times, primarily during the proxy battle, that whether this forum is sponsored by Noront or is left here at Agoracom's discretion, the forum will remain. At the very worst we may not be able to navigate to it from the Agoracom "For Investors" menu page.

Here's something else for all to consider and hopefully find comfort in. I have created over the last 10 to 15 years approximately 7 websites (4 for myself and 3 for businesses). Each of these websites had a live chat room and a discussion forum. As the website(s) grew the discussion forums grew as well. The only thing that becomes an issue there is monitoring. I'm sure that with the volume of discussion that goes on this forum monitoring would be difficult but if I was to take on 3 or 4 assistants with certain editing rights to the forum I'm sure we could deliver a quality forum of our own. I'm very willing to foot the bill for the website hosting and software (which I have already). The time is another factor. It takes a lot of free time to set up a website, but maybe that is what we need. An independant website with links to the things that really mean something to us on a daily basis with respect to investment in the mining sector and primarily the Ring of Fire (ROF) region.

I'm game for the site if I can get some volunteers who might have a bit of web development knowledge as well. Enough to edit and monitor the site. I'm not even sure that people working the site will need much web knowledge. I should be able to set things up for straightforward point and click editing, deleting, etc.

Let me know what you think. Please give me some ideas. The braintrust on this forum is something that could make the very, very best of investment websites available to the public. Coswil and his TA could have a portion of the site that could highlight his book and possibly provide some tips on TA of stocks. The main website would be totally objective in nature with specific topics geared to provide knowledge, quick reference and a glossary of terminology, terminology that will make investors more in sync with web language, investment terminology and mining definitions and samples to give the visitor clear information without having to voyage through the web to do it.

I need some feedback on this. It's a very large task which would be done in bits and bites. Any volunteers are welcome to join in. I will set up the website and the volunteers who wish to add to the site can email me their stuff so that I can post it. Of course the material posted would be c.c. to the others working on the site for editing, review of content and constructive critiques.

I'm game for another adventure. I would appreciate Noront being willing to work towards making our site better through co-operative interaction. This way, whether Noront drops Agoracom or not, we will continue to have our voice, a voice that is in no real way rebellious in nature, but rather shouting out "We are partners and we expect to be treated as such".

Remember one thing...whether you own 1, 100, 1,000, 10,000, 100,000........ shares, you own a piece of this company. The only thing that can take that away from us is our inability to maintain our percentage hold. Lets keep our chins up and make ourselves heard through all means possible. We must not ever be silenced. We must always maintain pressure on whoever runs this company to keep our ideas and concerns a part of their plans. WE MUST NEVER BE WALKED ON!!!!!!!!!! I'm not totally sure we aren't starting to be.....and am becoming concerned. This BOD owes us an interview with substance and interaction. At least we know Agoracom has taken our voices with them to the interviews so good has come from them.

I would like to hear how many here would like a website created and funded privately out of the reach of those who may wish to dispose of the retail voice, many times the voice of reason, mixed with the voice of distain when its being ignored or omitted from "THE PLAN". We all know with a board set up into a company consisting of members who are puppets (no matter how minimally) to the big guns of the shareholder community. Its really a shame that we can't all be working together and interacting on a genuinely honest and forthright playing field, but alas ..... that is NOT likely to happen ever again..... so lets keep our backup operating and ready should future problems arise (and I really hope they don't).

Please click the hand if you want me to develop the new website.

Please PM me if you wish to take part in the development of the website.

Please PM me if you wish to contribute weekly articles to the website (I would allow a portion of the website to be dedicated to those who wish to provide editorial comments or to explain aspects of investing that they feel would serve the rest of us).

Please PM me or post a name for the website you think would befit it the most. (ie: The Ring of Fire (Present Day Mammoth of the Canadian Mining Sector)

The website address could be something like www.rof.ca (simple and easy to remember when we're not close to home. Of course we have to confirm the address and web names are available as well.

And of course I will request that Agoracom become an integral part of the sites links. It will be an all in one approach that could well bring even more attention to this area.

Well all the best to everyone and enjoy your weekends...... Please consider this idea carefully as it does take a lot of work to do it well. Lets be sure of what we want and get the feedback on what our content might be. This we can do through PM or posts to the off-topic board. One thing for sure. We'll be heard on another plane. We need our voice to be loud and public. We need to be rest assured our investments are being considered with every move this company makes. We have to make it known what this region has to offer and to assist the PR of the region to new retail investment input.

Take care and God bless everyone... :)
