Clarification on needing NOT's permission to keep a NOT board

Could you please clarify whether or not Agoracom needs NOT's permission to keep or set up a NOT forum on this site. I have seen discussions before where you stated there is nothing preventing you/us from having a non-sponsored NOT forum if NOT didn't renew their agreement with you.

Now we are seeing posts about you requiring members to get approval from TME to maintain a TME board. Could you clarify whether that is true or not? More importantly can you clarify whether or not the same would apply to our NOT board if NOT terminates (doesn't renew) their agreement with you?

A simple straight forward explanation would be appreciated.
