Maybe why NOT and FWR are giving news differently

NI 43-101 Update (September 2012): 11.1 Mt @ 1.68% Ni, 0.87% Cu, 0.89 gpt Pt and 3.09 gpt Pd and 0.18 gpt Au (Proven & Probable Reserves) / 8.9 Mt @ 1.10% Ni, 1.14% Cu, 1.16 gpt Pt and 3.49 gpt Pd and 0.30 gpt Au (Inferred Resource)
I can't believe I am going to say this but I think we have to be very careful comparing FWR to NOT. We also have to be careful as to the reasons why they may each approach handling their progress differently..
First NOT has a 43-101 that lays out a verifiable resource base(E1). Regardless of where the market places NOT's share price, any Major that wants this company knows what NOT's bottom line(worth) is, regardless of any future results, and today’s metal prices. Of course this would be a floating bottom line based on metal prices. FWR has proven they have a very rich resource and they likely have lots of it. At this point FWR has no resource estimate and no real minimum value proven. No one except for maybe, and that is a big maybe, the management of FWR can put a minimum value on FWR at this point.
FWR has limited land in the ROF so once they complete their 43-101 if it becomes necessary, they will have come close to exposing their total value in the ROF. What NOT, and the other large land holders have in the ROF may not be known for 10 years or more, and long after most have sold to some Major. I'm told they are still making new nickel discoveries in Sudbury well after the establishment of that remote mining camp..
So here is my point. We all have seen NOT at its best, at $7.42 and experienced the excitement about what it could be worth. There is a real possibility(and my fear) that a major could come in at this point and literally steal this company for a value well under what is known and proven. FWR in my opinion is still trying to say, hey look at us, we have value(I believe they do and it is well north of its present value). I hate to say this, but until NOT can regain some value on it's own in today’s market environment, let's keep drilling and building results to produce that chromite 43-101. Let’s produce a much better value while under the radar. I’m beginning to think the less that is made public the better, especially if individual assays are barn burning results. Let’s complete a second 43-101 on the chromite so we can bring NOT’s bottom line to a proven, yet higher level.
Just my thought
