The word relations,would or should mean communication up close.Iwas in the business for 10 plus years and represented 50 or more Co,s during that period.With out question my mandate was to enhance shareholder value.

In order to achieve the end result,I would put on lunches for the brokers that followed the type of deal we were promoting,plus analysts in said field.I would learn as much about the Co. as the Ceo very often more and sell the product.It behooves a Co. to do this for many reasons.

The main reason is if the CO. wants to do a finance less dilution to the shareholders better for the Co.

If a buy out comes it normally is worked around the share price,unfortunatley not the potential of the Co.

So. I agree with donypee in his assumption and must disagree with rosehill,because if the F.I.R.M. did a good job promoting they would have any client they wanted.So being yes people for whomever does not bode well for their future.
