These are my words but it sums up the the conversation. They are simply waiting for a reply from the candidate. They will move on if they don't hear back from this individual. I mentioned that I expected this individual to reply to their offer. Unfortunately, they have not heard back from this person. My impression from the conversation is that they are having difficulty attracting what they consider would be the best candidate for the position.

I fully expect that the candidate will reply in a timely manner to the offer. My suggestion is that you contact JJ and ask her about the search for a new CEO.
