Heart of the question asked was if there was any likelyhood of a deal between FWR and NOT. This has been discussed numerous times and concensus was that they are COMPETITORS and not bedfellows.

It will take a major to step in with big bucks to pry FWR's ROF properties and jv's away from them. Noront, without a CEO, is highly unlikely to offer the kind of share swap for FWR properties required by Mac. Not saying it wouldn't be a good deal for both parties but just that it's not too realistic.
