Herb - You are totally justified in your concern. You realize the sneaky, underhanded method of unprincipled men in their business dealings - and have a right to be on alert.

Fortunately (despite all the weak regulations of the Venture exchange and legal loopholes that exist) any company, corp., or individual who, through another 'entity' acquires more than 9.9% of a company must declare their company/corp affiliations to the Venture exchange, as well as the amount (in excess of 9.9%) they have acquired.

Also, it is illegal to do this, and any individual, or business entity who does this, without first going through the legal requirement of obtaining the necessary permission to do this - risks losing the assets they thought they acquired.

Now, that is a stiff penalty and a great preventative force against companies trying to get clever and acquire more than 9.9% of the shares of any company without disclosing their affiliations and obtaining the necessary permissions.

All the long-time readers (and posters) here surely know that you have the heart and soul of a vigorous supporter of the fair treatment of all of us shareholders. You've shown that many times.

These kinds of observations that you make are important to the communications that should continue to go on among us, each of us 'pitching in' where we can with the various bits of knowledge we have, and eventually arriving at some good conclusions as to what is going on, what the company is worth, what are potential theats to the value of our company, and how we should respond.
