VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(April 20, 2009) - UC Resources Ltd. (TSX VENTURE:UC) announces that it has arranged a non-brokered private placement by the sale of 10,000,000 flow-through shares at $0.10 per flow-through share. The financing is subject to regulatory approval.

A commission of 4.5% in respect to the gross proceeds received will be paid by the issuance of shares in the capital of UC Resources Ltd. to finders. There will also be warrants issued to the finders equal to 10% of the number of shares sold. Each warrant will be exercisable into one common share, at a price of $0.10 per share, for a period of two years from the date of closing.
