You misunderstand me. I do not believe any race should be eradicated. If a group of some terroristic gang says that they repent of their affiliations with the other terrorists and will befriend and be your ally, then grant them mercy.

Those old wars are over and done with. Let the people live in peace with one another. But not with one side feeling they must pay extortion money to the other for something their ancient forefathers did.

We could as easily have a government saying that the aboriginals should be paying reparations for the damage they did to our forefathers, just as well as the opposite view that is going around today.

None should be harmed or made to pay reparations as long as they agree to live their own lives in peace with one another and not harm one another. Theft and extortion is harming someone. It has no place in a civilized world.
