Hello to all NOT shareholders, NOT management and NOT BoD. Entries are now being accepted for the 2nd Annual NOT GOLF Classic.

To participate in this exclusive tournament, you must first be able to play golf (at least a little bit), you should own a set of golf clubs or have access to some and you must observe all the rules of golf while playing in the tournament.

Most importantly, you MUST be a NOT shareholder, an employee of NOT or a member of the Board of Directors of NOT. The tournament directors of the NOT GOLF tournament reserve the right to deny any who are not of the above.

At this juncture, we are still negotiating with a few golf courses for dates and prices. The golf course will be announced soon, but I can tell you that it will be in the greater Toronto area. Currently, we are looking at a July or August date, but again, this will depend on the course availability and the number of entrants in the 2nd Annual NOT GOLF Classic.

The tournament will be a 3 or 4 person scramble event. Which means that every team will have at least one good golfer. Teams will be matched up according to level of play, with a special consideration to keeping couples on the same team.

We are trying to keep costs down and therefore, will once again be asking and hoping for prize donations. We will be asking Noront to help us out once again and we would also ask anyone else wishing to donate prizes to co-ordinate that with Doug (RepairMan) & Cheryle. Last year, we had enough prizes to go around the table twice. That was great and we thank everyone who made that possible last year.

I will be providing more details (in the OT forum after this post, but will alert you to any messages there).

In the meantime, if you are interested, please provide the following :

- Your level of play - your GAO handicap or what scores you shoot and at what type of golf courses, or how well you hit the ball or putt it or whatever...give me something to chew on.

- What dates you are not available for the tournament.

- If you will need accommodations.

- If you are allergic to any specific foods (it'll probably be steaks, chicken, beef and taters, salads, etc.).

- Anything else that you think is relevant.

All golf course rules will have to observed. This would include proper dress (no tank tops, cut off shorts, tee shirts, etc.), replacing of your divots in the fairways and ball marks on the greens, not getting drunk as a fart on the course (save it for the clubhouse) and observing all rules regarding golf carts and the golf course.
