In the last six months or so, we have had six incidents of abnormally large volumes of shares moving. In Oct 23-24, we saw 4.6 million shatres trade in a couple of days. The value ranged from start point $0.74, to a high of $1.24 and settling to $0.82 immediately after.
The week starting Jan 06, 9.5 million shares traded beginning at $0.78 to a high of $1.35 and immediately settling to $0.98.
From Jan13 to 14, 2.85 million shares traded beginning at $0.98 to a high of $1.29 and immediately settling to $1.09.
In Jan, there was an encompassing period from Jan 5 to Jan 23 where 23.8 million shares were traded in 15 trading days for an average of 1.58 million per day. Price started at $0.78 to a high of $1.36 and immediately settling to $1.09.
Apr 13 and 14, there were 5.0 million shares traded beginning at $0.78 to a high of $1.04 and immediately settling to $0.83.
Apr. 30, there were 3.1 million shares traded in a single day beginning at $0.75 to a high of $0.90 and immediately settling to $0.83.
May 13 and 14, there were 15.2 million shares traded starting at $0.77 to a low of $0.66 and settling at $0.70.
Sorry for presenting all this in narrative but tables just don't seem to work. The point of all this is first of all we have had some major accumulation events. All of them show the accumulation start at the $0.75 range. All except the last accumulation saw the shares start at a low accelerate to a high and settle higher than the starting point. The accumulation/selloff over the past couple of days was an exception by starting where the others did but went LOWER and settled lower than the start. I am not a TA person and don't really know what this means but it is a change.
Now, off to the beer, G&T, worms, flies, fish and steaks. Happy May 24 everyone.
Mike
