I found this map on the Probe’s web site this morning. This picture was created on May 26, 2009 (this morning). It contains the most interesting, detailed information of VTEM/AEM conductor results. As Probe claims, the strongest anomaly is located on the claim sharing a boundary between north of KWG/SPIDER/FREEWEST and southwest of Freewest's chrome discoveries (or 800m strike length between Black Thor and Big Daddy Chormite zones). It clearly depicts that the mass Chromite concentration appears to occur within Noront/Probe jv claim block. Not only a 800m length is long enough, but also CR grading percentage, CR intersection and width should be a matter for practical mining possibility. This confidential information was not revealed to the shareholders prior to the jv announcement on May 20th.
The 50/50 joint venture was initiated between Probe Mines and Noront Resources in May of 2009. The operator of two companies already set to a priority for drilling in this unexplored area sometime in June 2009. A drill is already available in the camp and Probe has allocated $500K of $4.1 million in cash for initial drilling program.
