The 'companies' aren't talking about this but read through the forum and you'll agree the explanation comes from excellent sources. Some people 'in the know' were quite upset because they felt Noront should have stuck to their guns and hung Probe out to dry over their actions instead of settling.

Don't hold your breath over ever getting confirmation out of either company as no doubt the 'settlement' was agreed to be confidential.
