So it appears our new CEO, Mr. Hanson, has a few specialties that could prove beneficial. Interesting that he states that investor relations are one of them. Could it be that we will see some positive changes in that department? We can hope. Secondly he states that he has spent considerable time on merger and acquisitions. That talent could be intriguing. He also has considerable experience in construction and mine operations. I can hardly wait for our new CEO to show his hand and let us know which of his special talents he is going to put to use with our company. Things could get interesting.
I hold Western Goldfields (which has now merged with New Gold) to become an intermediate gold producer. The deal arranged was not a sell-out. It was a fair offer beneficial to both companies and shareholders of both companies approved the merger. It is my hope that Mr. Hanson will want to make a name for himself as a good CEO and not be brow beaten by possibly some persuasive types that may be on our BOD or their associates. Here’s to hopefully a bright and prosperous future.
On that note, I really must go bath my avatars. Take care all!
