"You see I buy this stock at a $4 pp on the promise that this thing is going to be huge, only it doesn't get huge and they don't find any more @#$%^ and the @#$%^ that they did find isn't as big as thought to be....at least not yet. I also don't like the route the present management is going and I don't like not being in control, so I take action with some others that puts me in a power position. So now I/we start to sell shares off knowing that the company is probably going to drift down given the approach we're going to take with making sure every i is dotted and t crossed .....which will tremendously slow things down and impact the impression people have of the company. I'm now going to be able to buy a lot of my shares at around .60 to offset a portion of the shares I still may not have sold from $4. If things get really tough I'll have a wide enough margin to sell the company more cheaply if need be and I can move on to something else. I'll get as much as I can for the company 'cause I'm greedy but if push comes to shove and the bottom is looking like it's going to fall out I can liquidate much faster as I don't have to ask for as much per share given my new position. Either way I'm good to go. I can sell it at $7/17 or $2.40 and still make money. "
The above is a totally fictitious story. :)
