So we are in a behind the scenes, “Mexican stand off”. The first major to make a move could cause a bidding war that no major can afford at this time. IMHO"

Hence the move to bring talent on line to turn this into a mine, with the added bonus that it puts the majors on notice: "Buy in or move over".
