We all saw the great post by Bernardo of the techniques used by bashers. It is a great read and helps us identify bashers which have been prominent on here the last few days. Now, if we sit back and think about why they bash, we always assume: To bring the price down. That is a big part of it. However the other big part is they want to create enough distortion and discord to get people to think longer about investing in these companies at this time. This delay results in less opposition hence a cheaper way to bring the price down but it also gives them less opposition in buying shares on the cheap. 50 cents is the new low for the last 3 months...how many see this as a buying opportunity vs doomsday? For newer investors who see this as doomsday, remember the trick in the stock market is to buy low sell high...well, if you have done your DD and believe in this company, than the time to buy or to increase your position is now as these low prices will not be around for a long time. The big boys know this and that is why they send out the bashers. They want this HUGE buying opportunity to last as long as possible with the highest possible volume so they can accumulate the most shares at these low prices.
