Gold futures finished a tad weaker in quiet, range-bound tradeyesterday, as an unchanged U.S. dollar failed to boost the metal as a hedge against the falling U.S. currency. Gold for August delivery settled at $940.70 (U.S.), in New York, off 30 cents.
