When I read the reply of goldfinger I thought he was making a good point. Who would be selling now given the history of retired rookie? He may be a rookie on the venture exchange, but he sounds savy to me in the market. But retired rookie has been here a while and has to know the circumstances surrounding Noront. Noront isn't trading at the 55 to 65 cent level based on its own merrits of what it has in the ground and what it seems to have.

This latest announcement must have raised everyone's hopes here. We went quite a while without any substantial news. I dare say that most of us were wearing thin with our patience, but this announcement should have brought all of us out of that. Now we are waiting for more news. I don't think this one announcement will get us going. The prospect of more like this one should accomplish that. That could come very soon or within a few weeks. If it does and it is as good as the last one, anyone selling now could be quickly left behind.

The hardest thing with investing is having patience and controlling ones emotions. For me the hardest emotion is not missing buying a good stock and see it run up. It's happened often. What bothers me most is having a good stock and selling it too soon and then watch it run away with some good news to propell it. I have a hard time with that one.

I don't hold a large enough position now to satisfy me, but enough to make a big difference in my life to make me a very happy person. So we may be different on this point. Still, I see things changing with Noront with our new CEO. Interem boards seldom work well and we saw Noront tread water due to that condition. Whatever any of us thought about Joe H. and the others is history. But Joe H. did say one thing that caught my attention. He mentioned that in six months Noront would be a very different company. You can read that how you want. I think he has a good idea how things are set up and some startling results from the Ring of Fire are coming. Perhaps this announcement is the first in a series. I certainly hope so.

So something like 2.3 million shares traded with the news and it rose about 6 cents. It puzzles me why anyone would sell here. There has to be a reason but it escapes me. They were willing sellers in a free market so nobody stole them. However, I hope they are now in stronger hands and will not be resold for a while. I'm like a few others. My shares are not for sale here. Besides, my history of trading is abysmal!!!
