Regarding size:

There is a tectonic plate suture,the Kapuskasing Horst running from Wawa to James Bay.[Google it]

This structure is VERY deep. It may be the source of all the metalic elements of the area.

Like the Sudbury Basin this area probably has concentric and radial faults that would be feeders

from the main Tectonic Plate suture.

The ore bodies could be enormous. Creighton Mine in Sudbury has been mined for over 100 years and gets richer at depth --7400 feet.
