I Like your post. I think it is accurate. The cost of mining here in Sudbury is relative to the price of nickel. And, at present, nickel is hardly worth a plugged nickel. And, that will change as the economy recovers. The union flaw is that you can't ask on past success, or blame on past success, and what you ask for has to be in line with what you have or are dealing with at present. It's called flexability. Could be a big lesson is to be learned. Retrenching is no fun, and unions are notoriously bad at it. I feel for the employees, but we have been there before, will be there again. Zero gain in intelligence. Perhaps we will become a dinosaur, but I hope not.
