NI 43-101 Update (September 2012): 11.1 Mt @ 1.68% Ni, 0.87% Cu, 0.89 gpt Pt and 3.09 gpt Pd and 0.18 gpt Au (Proven & Probable Reserves) / 8.9 Mt @ 1.10% Ni, 1.14% Cu, 1.16 gpt Pt and 3.49 gpt Pd and 0.30 gpt Au (Inferred Resource)
Interesting that you are thinking ALL the way back to April. Seems to me, having discussed the Assay Turn Around times with Top Members of Two Major Assay Labs in early April, I was REPEATEDLY ASSURED that ALL Assays Were Returned to the Company (where NOT was the only Company referred to all the while) WITH IN TWO (2) WEEKS and with a FULL and COMPLETE Report on ALL Assays. Also note that each Lab could EASILY Complete THOUSANDS of ASSAY Tests PER DAY!!!!! Neither EVER has ANY DIFFICULTY MEETING THEIR COMMITMENT!!!!!
So, just keep that WELL in mind while reading the Following Key Sections of some Noront Resources NR's, Which Follow.
Also recall that the DEEP Drilling to do the Down Hole EM's was mostly completed by the END of January/February, 2009. This means the Deep Holes WERE Completed WAY BACK THEN???
TORONTO, ONTARIO - (Oct. 10, 2008) - Noront Resources Ltd. ("Noront") (TSX VENTURE:NOT) wishes to present the following update on its nickel - copper - platinum group metal exploration activities in the Ring of Fire portion of the McFaulds Lake area of northern Ontario in the James Bay Lowlands.
EXPLORATION HIGHLIGHTS
At Eagle Two, hole NOT-08-1G40 encountered 5.4 meters that averaged 2.17% Ni, 0.77% Cu and 0.23 g/t Pd. This was contained within a much broader mineralized zone of 24.7 meters that averaged 1.03% Ni, 0.31% Cu, and 0.11 g/t Pd between 270.8 and 295.5 meters down-hole. Hole NOT-08-1G42 encountered 2.19% Ni, 0.78% Cu over 1.8 meters starting at 425 meters down-hole.
Three drills continue with an aggressive drilling program on Noront's 100% owned Double Eagle Project, with one drill testing the chrome potential of Blackbird Two chrome occurrence, which is located approximately 1 kilometre east of Blackbird One (chrome component of the AT2 anomaly and stratigraphically related to Eagle Two). A second drill continues to test anomaly AT12 located 9.5 kilometers to the northeast of the Eagle One Deposit (see press release dated October 6, 2008), while the third drill has been moved to continue to test the depth and strike extension potential south of the Eagle One Magmatic Massive Sulphide Deposit.
TORONTO, ONTARIO - (Nov. 10, 2008) - Noront Resources Ltd. ("Noront")(TSX VENTURE:NOT) wishes to report the following results from its exploration activities in the Ring of Fire portion of the McFaulds Lake area of northern Ontario in the James Bay Lowlands.
Noront in its Eagle One Extension Program has been diamond-drill testing the peridotite north-south striking dike or conduit between the Eagle One deposit and the AT1 anomaly, some 800 meters to the south, since earlier this summer. The most recently completed hole in this program, NOT-08-44, entered the peridotite conduit at 294.2 meters and returned 28.5 meters of copper-nickel sulphide mineralization to 322.7 meters where the hole left the peridotite conduit and continued in granodiorite until its end at 375.0 meters.
Following is a more detailed summary of hole NOT-08-44. Assays from the hole are pending and true widths cannot be determined at this time.
The mineralization intersections reported are from visual observations and the pending assay reports must be awaited to give a more precise estimation of significant mineralization present. Notwithstanding the foregoing, visual observations are estimates only and pending assay results may not confirm visual observations in whole or in part.
Hole NOT-08-44 is approximately 70 meters vertically below hole NOT-08-28 & 32 previously reported (see press release dated May 8, 2008), which both returned significant core widths of copper-nickel and PGM mineralization from the Eagle One Deposit.
The previously completed eight drill holes (NOT-08-36 to 43) in this Eagle One Extension program were south of the previously known Eagle One Deposit and although they tested the same peridotite host conduit no significant mineralization was encountered.
Drilling is continuing at greater depths beneath the Eagle One Deposit to outline additional copper-nickel-precious metal resources to enhance the economic viability of this deposit. The results of a preliminary assessment of the Eagle One Deposit were released by Noront (see press release dated October 21, 2008) and a full report is expected before December 4, 2008.
Big Question NOW is: Why is it that NOT are so able to SUDDENLY Sigh Up a new CEO and Equally Suddenly Be able to Recommence the PUMP Machine????? Or is it simply the Info Flow? And what ever Suddenly happened to the NO MORE VISUALS (though the EXCESSIVELY VAGUE Visuals (and only Visuals) what we are getting are VISUALS)?
How about the Collar Location Coordinates and Drill Set Up Orientations? They are NOT VISUALS but are Needed to make ANY Real Meaningful Understanding or Sense of the Actual Potential of ANY ASSAYS, Let Alone Mere VISUALS on any Drill Core.
Thus, Why the Big Pump NOW????? Where is the KEEL (DH - 44)??? WHERE IS THE North West AREA of Eagle (DH - 49).
Though we suddenly get an "All is BETTER THAN HonkeyDory" report from the Office, TELLING us we should SUDDENLY LOVE what the DISSADENTS, (woopse, I mean ? ? ?, AH, any way) Have Done to Noront Resources, WHY SO LONG AFTER REAL MANIPULATORS Had Cocktails with their BUDDIES do we get less than criptic, though still excessively nondiscript, Visuals? Though still needing insider leaks to place additional less than informative Spin on the actual Vague Details found in the latest NR's. Note that there is much to tease out of the Wording of the NR's, much of which hints at GREAT PROMISE, but Nostradamus did the same, did he NOT?
Given the ALL& ALL, seems to me, if I were a RATIONAL Investor, having noticed the SP Manipulation over the past VERY LONG While, I Would Have To Conclude??? WHAT???
Oh, LET ME THINK? ? ? ... ! ! ! AH!!!, I Got it!!! The Drill Hole 09 - 49 Assay Results are ALREADY Priced into the SP.
Thus, the Drop in SP AGAIN!
NA! This time around we have the PUMP Machine with us??? Let's see what the MANIpulators can do to kill the momentum of the PUMpulators. Should be fun seeing the Left Hand slap the Right Hand, or vice versa. Are Pulators symbiotic, or just two sides of the one, in this case. Are they, or are they NOT???
Why the Rant?
Well, we need to keep Individuals "on the edge of their seats kind of thing, do we NOT. Gets boaring trading between accounts all by your self.
When will they release the Assay Results. Seems whenever they want to. Could be tomorrow or mid August, or late October.
Could have been _ _ _ _ _ ? ? ?
Old Joe
PS: Seems FNC are content to sit out for as long as they can seeing as they have their Claim Maintanence Expences covered for a good long while into the Future. Then again, why spend money looking for what is likely there only in thin bands!
PPS: Wes, Drill Coordinates and Set Up Orientations, Please! Then Thanks!!!
